As medical science and technology continue to advance, there is an increasing concern over professional and ethical responsibilities in providing optimal care to patients and their families, and addressing issues among colleagues and institutions including, but not limited to: effective utilization of scarce or limited resources, disclosure of conflicts of interest, balancing healthcare delivery with clinical research, and developing therapeutic relationships in light of controversial public health policies and laws.

Tuition & Costs
- In-state tuition is $602 per credit hour.
- Out-of-state tuition is $613 per credit hour.
- M.A. 32 credit hours
- Certificate 10 credit hours
Individuals who have earned a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university while maintaining an undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.0 are eligible to apply.

Students pursuing the Master of Arts (M.A.) may choose one of two tracks: medical ethics with an emphasis on clinical ethics, or the medical humanities.
The 10-credit certificate program can be acquired in as little as nine months.
