Students interested in becoming a pharmacist can participate in one or more of our pre-pharmacy programs to learn more about this field of health care and gain hands-on experience.
Future pharmacists can apply for admission to NEOMED after completing just 63 hours of prerequisite coursework as an undergrad, or secure a seat in pharmacy school as early as high school.
Pharmacy residency training provides students with extensive experience in providing patient care, developing leadership skills, pharmacy education and training, project management skills and engaging in research.
Continuing education for pharmacists is designed to enhance the practice of pharmacists by providing them opportunities to learn and apply the latest knowledge and skills for practice in a variety of settings.
Pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and build upon your professional competence to manage complex health-system pharmacy departments, or pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry and academia.
